On 11 May, 2021, the second meeting for the PASIFIC Navigators designated by all PAS Institutes took place. The Navigators play a vital role in the implementation of the PASIFIC Programme at their Institute. They stay in contact with candidates, their Institutes representatives, and the PASIFIC Team, preparing a safe ground for the future PASIFIC fellows.

On March 23rd, 2021, together with the PAS Scientific Center in Rome, the PASIFIC Team organized a presentation of the PASIFIC Postdoctoral Fellowship Programme for researchers from Italy. It was the first meeting with potential PASIFIC candidates after Call 1 had started one week earlier.
On March 8th, 2021, the PASIFIC Team organised the meeting for the PASIFIC Navigators designated by 69 institutes of the Polish Academy of Sciences and the International Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology. The main task of PASIFIC Navigators is to support researchers applying for the PASIFIC Postdoctoral Fellowships Programme at every stage of their application and implementation of the research project.
We are happy to announce that the Call 1 in the PASIFIC Programme is open! All interested scholars of any nationality and representing all research disciplines can apply for 2-year postdoctoral fellowships at the institutes of the Polish Academy of Sciences and the International Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology in Warsaw. In the first call 35 fellows will be selected. The deadline for applications is June 30th, 2021. The researchers will be expected to come to Poland between January 2022 and March 2022.
On March 8th, 2021, the PASIFIC Team members were invited by the Polish Academy of Sciences Scientific Center in Paris to present the PASIFIC Postdoctoral Fellowship Programme. Numerous invited guests, including representatives of the University of Lorraine, the French Embassy in Poland, and the Institute Denis Poisson, participated in the event.
The Polish Academy of Sciences is launching an open Call for Ethics Experts to support the evaluation process of the PASIFIC postdoctoral fellowship program. PASIFIC has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation program under the Maria Skłodowska-Curie Actions.
The Polish Academy of Sciences (PAS) welcomes applications for a pool of evaluators from all academic disciplines. Experts with relevant experience and expertise will be appointed to assess the research proposals submitted to the PASIFIC Fellowship Programme’s Call 1 and Call 2.
