Explore secrets of the scientific world

Knowledge begins with curiosity – this is the idea behind Academy Smart Talks event. That’s why we have brought together researchers with those who want to explore the secrets of the scientific world.

First edition took place on 26th October at the Museum of the Earth in Warsaw (Pniewski Villa). PASIFIC Fellows met with high school students and talked about what they do and how their research can impact the lives of all of us. If you missed the opportunity to attend a live event, you can now make up for it and watch a video of the event.

Meet the participants – Olha Tikhonova from Ukraine and Ewa Poniecka from Poland. Olha has joined the PAS Tadeusz Manteuffel Institute of History, where she investigates the defensive heritage of 17th-century Polish-Lithuania. Ewa works at the International Institute of Molecular and Cellular Biology, where she explores the novel uses of droplet microfluidic and single cell techniques in RNA biology research.

Don’t miss their talk!
