Meeting of Scientific Community-  PASIFIC & AMU networking event 

We would like to encourage scientists and scholars to participate in a day-long networking event, organized by the Polish Academy of Sciences and the Polish Young Academy (Akademia Młodych Uczonych, AMU) within the framework of the PASIFIC programme.

 It aims at dialogue, cross-inspiration and deeper socialization among the scientific community.

The primary language of the event is English, and the agenda comprises the following:

  1. Presentation of conducted research and discussion divided into thematic groups (LS, SSH and PE) composed of the PASIFIC Fellows and AMU members
  • Keynote speakers lecture – ERC Grant Laureates:  

Prof. Valentina Lepri, Institute of Philosophy and Sociology PAS,                                

Prof. Andrzej Dziembowski, International Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology                                                                                                                                                       

Prof. Wojciech Knap, Institute of High Pressure Physics.

  • Panel discussion on “Brain drain vs brain circulation – challenges and opportunities of scientific mobility”.

Venue: Staszic Palace, Warsaw

We provide lunch throughout the meeting. Participants are also invited to a dinner after the last session.  For individuals willing to attend, please submit a form until 18 September.
