What genes do affect milk protein quality and how do these genes regulate the milk protein synthesis?
The objective of the project is to promote milk quality by means of molecular biologic techniques and elucidate the milk protein synthesis mechanism.
Li Chen obtained her PhD from Ehime University, Japan, in 2013. Afterwards, she lectured at several universities in China. In 2022, L. Chen joined the Institute of Genetics and Animal Biotechnology of the Polish Academy of Sciences to carry out her posdoctoral research on goat milk protein.
