Transformation of the audience consciousness under the influence of the printed media in Post-Soviet and European countries.
The research will cover the following areas: memory policy and the role of media in its implementation; the role of media in the development of critical thinking; the state of media literacy formation among the population and the influence of the media on the formation of self-identity of ethnic groups within the Polish socio-cultural space.
Oksana Pochapska started her research career at Kamianets-Podilskyi Ivan Ohiienko National University, Ukraine, where she received her BA and MA. She earned her PhD in Social Communication from Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, Ukraine, in 2009. To continue her research and implement the fellowship, O. Pochapska moved to the College of Journalism and Communications of the University of Florida, the USA. From 2018 to 2022 she held a position of an associate professor of Journalism Department at Kamianets-Podilskyi Ivan Ohiienko National University.
