Knowledge begins with curiosity – this is the idea behind Academy Smart Talks meeting. That’s why we bring together young researchers with those who want to explore the secrets of the scientific world for the SECOND time!

Following the success of first edition of Academy Smart Talks in October 2023,  we are looking forward to the second edition in April 2024.  As a reminder – Academy Smart Talks is the event within the framework of PASIFIC fellowships programme, targeting the public and focused on popularization and promotion of science and researcher’s careers. Its main goal is to inspire young people to choose a scientific career path – to broaden their horizons, develop their passions, and explore the world.

First edition took place at the Museum of the Earth in Warsaw (Pniewski Villa) and this time we will meet at the Mirror Hall of Staszic Palace in Warsaw on 22 April 2024.

The idea is to connect representatives of two different disciplines in conversation. In the form of short dialogues, scientists will present the most interesting aspects of their research and answer the questions from the audience. The audience will include around hundred ambitious students from chosen high schools with advanced English program.

Discussions will be recorded and available online after the event.
